It is not a twelve-step program. It is not a highlight reel of healing. It is a real conversation with a real woman who has lived through a twenty-four year marriage, a spiritual awakening, intergenerational trauma, religious trauma, burnout, divorce, and the quiet miracle of building a life that finally feels like hers, from a fifth wheel trailer she named Dynasty.<\/p>\n <p>Velia believes that it was not your fault, and that you are one hundred percent responsible for your healing. She holds both of those truths at the same time, and she teaches you how to do the same.<\/p>\n <p>She spent over fifteen years in education, as a paraeducator, substitute teacher, school counselor, and principal, working with the kids everyone else gave up on. A pivotal moment in 2016 sent her to the floor of her office, looking up at her degrees, asking herself if there was a better way. There was. She has been teaching it ever since.<\/p>\n <p>Her approach draws from neuroscience, epigenetics, nervous system regulation, subconscious reprogramming, and lived experience. She does not cite theories. She does not write progress notes. She goes on a scavenger hunt with you, sitting beside you until you remember what you already know.<\/p>\n <p>She is the founder of Intentional Healings LLC and the author of an ongoing bilingual memoir series, written in English and Spanish, documenting her own unraveling, awakening, and homecoming in real time. Most of it was written in Dynasty, the fifth wheel trailer where a long chapter of that becoming was captured on the page, though the becoming itself has been happening her whole life. The writing continues wherever she goes. Her books are available in both languages because healing does not speak only one tongue, and neither does she.<\/p>\n <p>Velia is a 6\/2 Projector in Human Design, the Role Model Hermit profile: someone wired to guide by living example, and to need real stretches of retreat before showing up publicly again. Organizing her narrow closet became a lesson in stewardship. Through her travels, by plane, by car, across different towns and cultures, she kept noticing the same thing wearing different clothes: the same ache, the same hunger to come home to yourself, showing up everywhere she went.<\/p>\n <p>She is a former educator. In the classroom, she kept noticing the same pattern: there were students clearly struggling, who got support, and students clearly excelling, who got opportunity. And then there was everyone in the middle, doing fine on paper, quietly falling through the cracks of a system built for one extreme or the other.<\/p>\n <p>She sees the same pattern now, in adults. People who aren't in crisis, and aren't thriving either. People who did everything they were told to do, the degree, the marriage, the career, the house, and who hit a wall of \"now what\" they never saw coming.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n \n<hr class=\"divider\">\n \n<section>\n <div class=\"wrap\">\n <h2>Who I Actually Work With<\/h2>\n <p>Over years of doing this work, a few kinds of people keep showing up:<\/p>\n <ul class=\"who-list\">\n <li>\n <strong>People who've already done the traditional route.<\/strong>\n Many of the people she works with have already been through years of conventional therapy, and some are therapists themselves. Traditional care has real value, and for many people it's exactly what's needed. What brings people to her is usually something more: wanting to go further than a diagnosis or a coping strategy, into the deeper work of actually knowing themselves.\n <\/li>\n <li>\n <strong>People dismantling an old belief system.<\/strong>\n Often religious, sometimes not, but either way, the structure that used to hold their sense of meaning and belonging no longer fits, and they're figuring out what replaces it, without abandoning the parts of themselves that are still spiritual, still searching for community.\n <\/li>\n <li>\n <strong>People who did everything \"right\" and still feel lost.<\/strong>\n There's no crisis to point to, nothing anyone would call broken. Just a quiet disorientation that's hard to explain to people who assume you should be satisfied. No checklist tells you what comes after the checklist. It is not a twelve-step program. It is not a highlight reel of healing. It is a real conversation with a real woman who has lived through a twenty-four year marriage, a spiritual awakening, intergenerational trauma, religious trauma, burnout, divorce, and the quiet miracle of building a life that finally feels like hers, from a fifth wheel trailer she named Dynasty.<\/p>\n <p>Velia believes that it was not your fault, and that you are one hundred percent responsible for your healing. She holds both of those truths at the same time, and she teaches you how to do the same.<\/p>\n <p>She spent over fifteen years in education, as a paraeducator, substitute teacher, school counselor, and principal, working with the kids everyone else gave up on. A pivotal moment in 2016 sent her to the floor of her office, looking up at her degrees, asking herself if there was a better way. There was. She has been teaching it ever since.<\/p>\n <p>Her approach draws from neuroscience, epigenetics, nervous system regulation, subconscious reprogramming, and lived experience. She does not cite theories. She does not write progress notes. She goes on a scavenger hunt with you, sitting beside you until you remember what you already know.<\/p>\n <p>She is the founder of Intentional Healings LLC and the author of an ongoing bilingual memoir series, written in English and Spanish, documenting her own unraveling, awakening, and homecoming in real time. Most of it was written in Dynasty, the fifth wheel trailer where a long chapter of that becoming was captured on the page, though the becoming itself has been happening her whole life. The writing continues wherever she goes. Her books are available in both languages because healing does not speak only one tongue, and neither does she.<\/p>\n <p>Velia is a 6\/2 Projector in Human Design, the Role Model Hermit profile: someone wired to guide by living example, and to need real stretches of retreat before showing up publicly again. Organizing her narrow closet became a lesson in stewardship. Through her travels, by plane, by car, across different towns and cultures, she kept noticing the same thing wearing different clothes: the same ache, the same hunger to come home to yourself, showing up everywhere she went.<\/p>\n <p>She is a former educator. In the classroom, she kept noticing the same pattern: there were students clearly struggling, who got support, and students clearly excelling, who got opportunity. And then there was everyone in the middle, doing fine on paper, quietly falling through the cracks of a system built for one extreme or the other.<\/p>\n <p>She sees the same pattern now, in adults. People who aren't in crisis, and aren't thriving either. People who did everything they were told to do, the degree, the marriage, the career, the house, and who hit a wall of \"now what\" they never saw coming.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n \n<hr class=\"divider\">\n \n<section>\n <div class=\"wrap\">\n <h2>Who I Actually Work With<\/h2>\n <p>Over years of doing this work, a few kinds of people keep showing up:<\/p>\n <ul class=\"who-list\">\n <li>\n <strong>People who've already done the traditional route.<\/strong>\n Many of the people she works with have already been through years of conventional therapy, and some are therapists themselves. Traditional care has real value, and for many people it's exactly what's needed. What brings people to her is usually something more: wanting to go further than a diagnosis or a coping strategy, into the deeper work of actually knowing themselves.\n <\/li>\n <li>\n <strong>People dismantling an old belief system.<\/strong>\n Often religious, sometimes not, but either way, the structure that used to hold their sense of meaning and belonging no longer fits, and they're figuring out what replaces it, without abandoning the parts of themselves that are still spiritual, still searching for community.\n <\/li>\n <li>\n <strong>People who did everything \"right\" and still feel lost.<\/strong>\n There's no crisis to point to, nothing anyone would call broken. Just a quiet disorientation that's hard to explain to people who assume you should be satisfied. No checklist tells you what comes after the checklist.
